**Autar Kaw **(autarkaw.com) is a Professor of Mechanical Engineering at the University of South Florida. He has been at USF since 1987, the same year in which he received his Ph. D. in Engineering Mechanics from Clemson University. He is a recipient of the 2012 U.S. Professor of the Year Award. With major funding from NSF (2002-2018), he is the principal contributor to developing the multiple award-winning online open courseware for an undergraduate course in Numerical Methods. The OpenCourseWare (nm.MathForCollege.com) annually receives 1,000,000+ page views, 1,800,000+ views of the YouTube audiovisual lectures, and 100,000+ page views at the NumericalMethodsGuy blog. His current research interests include engineering education research methods, adaptive learning, open courseware, massive open online courses, flipped classrooms, and learning strategies. He has written four textbooks and 80 refereed technical papers, and his opinion editorials have appeared in the St. Petersburg Times and Tampa Tribune.

dear sir can you help me please with the below given problem Let D [a; b] R be a closed bounded interval over the real line For any innetely smooth real valued function f dened over the interval D, given a positive integer number N and a set of N + 1 real coefficients alpha(i); i = 0; : : : ;N and xi = a + i (b – a)/N and I(f) = integration from a to b f(x) dx and QN(f) = sum form i=0 to N alpha(i) f(x(i) ) Write a matlab code that, given the values of N, a and b as input, returns the value of the cofficients alpha(i) that satisfy the condition QN(f) = I(f); for f(x) = x^j ; j = 0; : : : ;N
